I just came to Lemmy after being permabanned from Reddit after 12 years. I’ve seen plenty of very real nonsensical posts like that, so Im conditioned to believe them, if they don’t have a /S. I’ve been accused of it myself, for some of my sarcastic posts, when I failed to include /S.
Having been permabanned myself from reddit after 14 years, I’ve never seen that text used as anything other than a mocking tone for the thing being said.
