Because that’s literally what happens. On both “sides”. (I kind of cringe at calling them sides, because I don’t care about their orientation, but for the sake of argument)
It’s almost like lefties, or autistic people. Now that there’s widespread awareness and easy(-ish) medical diagnosis available, people end up figuring out they’re zebras instead of weird horses.
And, like left handed people it will most likely plateau at a steady percentage after a while.
Yeah look at all the gays and trans kids that got propagandized to be straight and cis because of all the heteronormativity in the media!
