It will take decades to recover from the damage done just up to this date. I cannot fathom what 45 more months will do in terms of harm to the US and to the rest of the world directly from these policies. smh.

I’d argue he’s not even doing that much. He’s just signing his name where they tell him to. Trunk isn’t a singular supervillain. There’s a whole team of assholes doing this shit.
The administration is completely different. The GOP had a lot more influence on the admin choices in 2016. MAGA is the party now and they get to appoint anyone they want. 2016 still had people who believed in democracy, the 2024 administration sees it as a hinderance.
You’re vastly underestimating the damage done in his first term. Everything he did then set the foundation for what he is now.
He stacked the judiciary during term 1, saw all the secret plans, went on his dictator dick sucking coordination tour, etc
If you look at what he actually did first term and compare it to this term, they’re pretty close in their evilness. The Muslim ban, the family separation, the hiring of really dumb people. Everyone is just forgetting or weren’t paying attention the first time.
There’s a lot more people with a plan behind the scenes this time. They only need him to sign the papers.
