• Which is a reasonable assumption if you’re basing that purely off the policies listed on Kennedy’s website. A lot of D-leaning stuff (limit corporate power, healthcare, reduce wars, etc) that would seem appealing on the surface. But every single time he gets on a stage or on a headline it’s for some bizarre statement that just sounds GOP-Lite, and I don’t expect many democrats to flip based on that press. Especially now that we have a firecracker like Harris to rally behind- but Republicans might flip.

Honestly, I think he would have diluted Biden’s vote. With Harris, I’m not sure which way it would go. For Trump supporters, it feels like it’s him or civil war. I don’t think they’d go for RFK

No matter your beliefs (I think we’re all in agreement that RFK Jr. is not the guy), this is a good thing

    • Except NC uses plurality voting. If you put two or more progressive candidates on the ballot that actually makes it harder for a progressive to win which is pretty backwards. They do this kind of stuff in primaries all the time: digging up another candidate that is very similar to an existing one, sometimes with the same name, to siphon off votes. The only silver lining here is that “Mr Vaccines Cause Autism” is more likely to take votes away from “Mr China Virus”.
