I made a subreddit https://old.reddit.com/r/RandomButton/ a decade ago to showcase subreddits I discovered via /r/random. Kept it updated for about a year.

Firefox works fine for me so I’ll stick to it. Chrome will have annotation support for those that need it though.

Nothing serious, but I track all the games I play. According to stats, I completed 30 games and spent a total of 4d 15h 32m playing games this year.

Mostly Lemmy. Mastodon sometimes – I have to spend more time there muting RSS bot accounts to find stuff of my interest.

Dipping my toes into Bluesky as well. So far it’s been good – very polished experience.

I also lurk quite a bit on Tildes.net.

Threads posts show up on Instagram and if you want to view one it redirects you to the Play Store. I feel that’s why it’s so high up.

Fix for issue occasionally preventing Adaptive brightness from activating in certain conditions

Just ran into this issue a few moments ago heh. Glad to see a fix is incoming.

They used to be $6 at my local Costco until they jacked up the price to $11.

Never forgave Costco for that. I liked these perogies.

Hopefully my Pixel 6a makes the cut for Android 16.

6 series (don’t know about 6a) won’t receive major OS updates anymore.

8 and 9 series come with seven years of OS updates.

Current: Pixel 6a. Probably the best out of all the phones I’ve owned. Wish the battery life was a little bit longer.

I do have a soft spot for my first ever smartphone, the Nexus 4. I adored it.

Upgraded to Android 15 with no issues on my 6a, but stuff like this is concerning.

• Island: Allows me to create a clone of app. Useful for apps that don’t support multi-accounts.
• Simple Time Tracker: I use it to keep track of how long I spend playing a game, since I like documenting the info for HowLongToBeat.com

Other than these, K9 Mail and NewPipe.
